What Makes Us different?

At P41, housing is only the beginning.

We connect participants with Peer Recovery Coaches and other community resources that support their stability and long‑term success.

Our Peer Recovery Coaches are trained professionals with lived experience who understand the realities of rebuilding life after addiction, instability, incarceration, or major life disruption. Their insight allows them to walk alongside participants with authenticity, empathy, and practical guidance.

While coaching is not provided in‑house, participants are encouraged to take full advantage of the support available to them. Peer Recovery Coaching emphasizes accountability, goal‑setting, and real‑world guidance—not therapy or clinical treatment—and serves as a valuable resource for those ready to engage.

This supportive model is foundational to P41 and reflects our commitment to offering more than shelter—we provide access to structure, mentorship, and pathways that help individuals build stability, maintain progress, and move confidently toward reintegration.

How Coaching Can Help

Peer recovery coaching may support participants with:

Staying accountable to sobriety and personal goals

Building daily structure and healthy routines

Navigating work, responsibility, and independent living

Developing long-term stability and self-sufficiency

Coaches walk alongside participants as mentors and guides, offering encouragement rooted in real-world experience.

Peer recovery coaching is available at no cost to the participant when covered through Medicaid. Enrollment and participation are handled separately and do not affect housing placement or participation at P41.

Meet the Founders of

P41 Transitional Housing

P41 was founded by Starla and David Scott, individuals who have lived through recovery, incarceration, and the work of rebuilding life from the ground up. Their faith in Jesus Christ and years of peer support experience guide how they serve others today — walking alongside participants with empathy, integrity, and clear expectations.

P41 exists because second chances work best when they are rooted in truth, responsibility, and hope.

Meet the Founders of

THH 35:8

THH 35:8 was founded by people who have walked through recovery themselves. Our lived experience, faith in Jesus Christ, and years of peer support work shape how we walk beside others today — with honesty, compassion, and accountability.
